Everybody Should Hunt

This is just an idea I had for a blog.  After reading I Remember Papa Bear by Fred Lattimer I got to thinking, everybody should hunt.   I also searched Google for pros and cons of hunting, and found an article by Steven L. Ashe, who mostly expresses exactly what I want to say.

Why do I say everybody should hunt?

The animals get to live out in the wild.  This means several things:

1. there isn't the cruelty of the factory farm existence.  If you saw the movie Food Inc, you should know what I'm talking about.  They are not kept in buildings, crates, stalls or pens.
They're free until the very end.

2a.  The animals are healthier - they don't stand around in their own feces or urine.
2b.  The meat is healthier.   There are no hormones or antibiotics given to the animals.
3.  The food they eat is vastly superior  - it's whatever they find out in the wild, and they eat instinctively.
4.  They get exercise.

The vast majority of people eat meat.
The requirement that something be killed to get meat is hidden from people who get their meat from a grocery store or restaurant.

The hunter is conscious of the requirement to kill, and chooses to do so.

The process of killing and dressing a wild animal is something
everybody should be familiar with, in this writer's opinion.

I found something on the net I figured I could copy, and I didn't think the author had a copyright on it, but the site where it's posted does.

But here is a link to the original:

Other than that I tried to come up with some content but I don't really know how to do websites, and I wasn't happy with anything else I came up with.  So for now this domain is just parked, and this text is just a placeholder for something I may come up with in the future.
